Mixing

• Pour the liquid Basecrete into a mixing container first.
• Add the dry mix on top of the liquid Base-Crete.
• Do not add water.
• Aim for a "milkshake" consistency. If the mixture is too thick, add more liquid Basecrete.
• The reference mixture is 1 gallon of liquid Base-Crete per 50lbs dry mix bag (covers 40-50 sqft @ 1/8” thick).

Mixing Process

• Mix the liquid and dry mix until you achieve a milkshake-like consistency.
• Let the mixture sit for 4 minutes.
• Re-mix the mixture for 1 minute.

Application using Troweling

• Apply 1/8” thick at a time using a trowel.

Application using Spraying

• Apply 1/16” thick at a time using a sprayer.

Application using Rolling

• Apply 1/16” thick at a time using a roller.
• Make only two passes – one pass vertically and one pass horizontally.

Post-Application

• If the customer wants to paint over the Basecrete, they will need to use a different product like epoxy.
• Wait for 4 weeks before painting.
• Saturate the surface with water and neutralize with a 1:8 solution of muriatic acid.
• Rinse with clean water after neutralizing.
